Hello again Rams Hockey Families!

We have recently arranged for two terrific fundraisers, that will be on a volunteer basis:

1)  Pine-Richland Hockey will be selling two books about the Penguins published by Trib Total Media:  "The Cup Stops Here" and "Summer With Lord Stanley."  The books sell for $15 and $20, respectively, and our club receives $5.00 for each book sold.  Those proceeds will go to players' individual accounts.  This is a very quick fundraiser: all orders and payments are due by Thursday, Oct. 29th (no late orders will be accepted!). Players will receive sales packets with more detailed information from their team managers next week.  (FYI - I purchased "Summer With Lord Stanley" and it is a really neat book!  There are 2-4 pages of pictures and stories about what each Penguin player did with the Cup.)

2) On Saturday, November 14th and Sunday, November 15th we will sell our Crosby jersey raffle tickets at Ace Hardware on Rt. 19 in Wexford.  Ace has kindly agreed to provide us with grills so that we can grill hotdogs to attract customers.  We will also sell baked goods.  Dan Cole was at Ace Hardware last week when North Allegheny Hockey was doing the same thing, and their business was booming!  Proceeds from sales at this event will be split 50/50 between the club and the players that work a shift.  Shifts will be 1-2 hours (depending on the number of volunteers) from 10-2 on Saturday and 12-4 on Sunday.  Please email me asap if you and/or your son is interested in working this event, and if you are able to provide baked goods.  We would like to have 3-4 players and a couple of parents for each shift.  This should be fun!
